I dedicate this first post to the Kevin and Brian, the boys from The Flash Centre Birmingham who have been legendary.....Boys I solute you!!

I write this sat in bed with a cuppa thinking of the mad long day ahead. It's snuck up on me and feels a little unreal and I'm not sure I'm ready for it.

Our first port of call after landing at LAX and the next time I go to bed it will be here 6826 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA.  I bet theres a few dodgy and fascinating secrets to be told here.

The start of our trip will see us head north and is the one bit that is planned. We're giving ourselves a couple of days to get the body clocks synced and then we head off to the unknown, into new territory and to see the backbone and non commercial side of America.
